Terms of Service — Job Application Logger

Effective date: 2026-07-12 Contact: jacob.t.brondum@gmail.com

These terms govern your use of the Job Application Logger Chrome extension (“the extension”). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use it.

What the extension is

Job Application Logger is a free, single-purpose Chrome extension that lets you save job-application details (company, role, location, salary, status, notes) to a Google Sheet you own, either by auto-detecting them from a supported job-posting page or by manual entry. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what data the extension reads and where it goes.

License

You’re granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for its intended purpose. The extension’s source code is open: github.com/brondumjacob/job-logger-chrome-extension.

No accounts, no payments

The extension does not require creating an account with the developer, and there is no paid tier, subscription, or in-extension purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the extension to violate the terms of service of any job board it interacts with (LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Glassdoor), and not to use the extension’s Google API access for anything other than writing your own job-application data to your own Google Sheet.

Disclaimer of warranty

The extension is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Auto-detection depends on the structure of third-party job-board pages, which can change without notice — auto-filled fields may be incomplete or wrong, and you’re responsible for verifying anything the extension logs on your behalf.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the extension — including loss of data in your own Google Sheet.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

This is standard boilerplate for a free, no-account, no-payment extension — not legal advice. If you want it reviewed for anything higher-stakes (e.g. before scaling usage or adding paid features), have an attorney look at it.
